| Description | The day of today (January 5,) Nex is unleashed on Old School Runescape after 90 percent of the community has voted in favor of the new update. Players can now team together in clans with up to 80 to take on the boss. The announcement states that Nex could also be fought solo in a private game. The instances are unlockable after completing The Hard Combat Achievements tier, and after that, you can purchase an instance costing 100,000 GP every entry. Higher Combat Achievement tiers lower this cost.
In The Ancient Prison beneath the God Wars Dungeon, Nex can only be accessed once players have completed the Desert Treasure quest and a miniquest to unlock access to the Frozen Door. This access point, which is frozen, has been in existence since the time that the Dungeon was created, but has been sealed up until now! After entering the Prison, players must crush through a massive force (featuring Spiritual Warriors, Mages, Rangers, and Blood Reavers) before getting to Nex her.
