Luka Doncic as well as Candace Parker are among the top athletes who will compete in NBA 2K22.Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic, Chicago Sky and WNBA outstanding Candace Parker and Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant are among the players who will be featured on the next NBA 2K video game release as announced by the company today.
In celebration of the NBA's 75th season that is coming up, NBA legends Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Dirk Nowitzki will also grace the cover of the NBA 75th Anniversary Edition (along with Durant). Parker is the first WNBA player to grace the cover of NBA 2K's GameStop Exclusive Edition.
Durant appeared on the cover of NBA 2K13, along with Blake Griffin (and Derrick Rose) in the past. Doncic and Nowitzki are the first Mavericks to ever be featured on the cover of the game's long history.
Abdul-Jabbar, Durant, and Nowitzki all posted on Twitter to share their places on the game's cover. Abdul-Jabbar said it was "a Wowzer" to be featured on the cover. Durant and Doncic each declared being chosen as cover athletes an honor, while Nowitzki was funny in tweeting: "Not sure who these other guys are , but it's a huge honor to be on the cover of NBA2K22.
