You can always find runningbacks in the later rounds. The Jags believe they've located a unique running back in Etienne. In May, head coach Urban Meyer said the former Tiger had the potential to be a "legitimate dual-threat". In his rookie minicamp the player was also a wide receiver.

While Robinson may still be the Jaguars lead back when they play in 2022, Etienne should also have a major role on offense. Jacksonville won't likely be able to count on two running backs that can reach 1,000 yards this season but they could be an excellent team. The Jags' rank on the ground could be higher than it was last year and they finished 31st in touchdowns by rush.

Robinson had a league-high 85 percent of the team's total carrying in 2020. The percentage will decrease significantly in the coming year, but not necessarily a bad thing. The Jags had him as their only reliable running back in the last season. But, they might have overworked him as he missed two games because of an ankle injury.
