Jordans 2017, The Air Jordan 6 "Alternate" continues on with Jordan Brand's "Alternate" theme into 2017. For the first time, they will use the Air Jordan 6. The newest Air Jordan VI features a bold white, pure platinum and gym red color scheme. Sporting MJ's team hues and classic color blocking, the 'Alternate '91' iteration arrives in a style that represents what might have been during the G.O.A.T.'s playing days. When you look at them, they look like a cross between the "Maroon" Air Jordan 6 and the "Hare" Air Jordan 7. Using White perforations across the leather overlays and Pure Platinum on the panels. In addition we have Gym Red used on the liner, lace lock and tongue. Other details include "1991" on the inside of the tongue and a translucent outsole. The Air Jordan 6 "Alternate" looks very similar to the OG "Maroon" but takes on a few different noticeable details throughout the shoe. Decked out in perforated white leather paneling with red accents and a light grey synthetic nubuck base with "1991" seen on the inner tongue.
New Jordans 2016, Air Jordan VI Alternate '91 celebrates one of the greatest decades of all time– the 1990's. The decade was a fast-moving time, and Jordan Brand was determined to keep up with the revolution. They kicked off 1991 with the modern, futuristic silhouette of the Air Jordan VI. Somewhat of a hybrid maroon variation as well, the sneaker pays homage to the Chicago Bulls' color scheme with white, pure platinum and gym red accents covering its entire upper. This iteration is also the pair that MJ would've donned during the 1991 Playoffs, as the year "1991" is evidenced on the tongues. Finally, translucent outsoles finish off the design. The Jumpman logos stay within the colorway, with Gym Red on the sole, and a Bold White embroidered Jumpman on the heel counter. There is also a third Jumpman located on the red plastic toggle spring stop at the top of the laces. (If you ever wondered what hat thing was called, now you know.) The fourth and final Jumpman, white, is printed on the red inside sole.

According to Nike.com, the colorway "arrives in a style that represents what might have been." Alternate was imagined as the ultimate pair to match the Chicago Bulls uniform. Bold White and Pure Platinum deliver the upper, sides, and toe box with updated sophistication. Nonetheless the shoes come in a combo of synthetic and nubuck leather, and feature perforations on the panels for a ventilated comfort. The Jordan 6's are one of my favorite shoes; they were specifically engineered with MJ in mind. they are equipped with visible air units at the heel and forefoot zoom units for cushioning needs. There's a certain Hare-like appearance on this model that didn't come until the next signature installment. The Air Jordan 6 offers a full white upper associated with some red details on the tongue and on the midsole that features its classic air visible units.
