The 2017 Air Jordan Shoes were released on June 23, 2001, retailing for $115. They were one of several low top versions of the Air Jordan 11 (XI)’s released that summer, and feature an all white upper, with white patent leather along the base, as well as grey accents. The all white design is al ways nice, and definitely makes a great summer shoe. The clear outsole is always loved by Jordan fanatics, but the only knock on it is that it tends to turn yellow after a while. Besides the looks, the shoe also features specs including a carbon fiber spring plate, ballistic nylon uppers, a rubber outsole with herringbone traction pattern, and a quick lace system.The Air Jordan 11 has always been a flashy shoe thanks to its bold use of shiny patent leather. The shoe seeks even more attention on this, a gold iteration that's been dubbed the "Closing Ceremony" Jordan 11 Low.As mentioned before, the closing ceremony for the 2016 Rio Olympics is on Aug. 21 and these sneakers don't release until Aug. 27, so it's unclear if that's actually the intended theme of the shoe.
