Jordan Brand have unveiled their new 2016 Jordan Shoes design inspired by Blake Griffin’s explosive, high-flying game. The initial release will comprise of three colourways – black, grey and the vibrant red and blue Clippers version. The seamless, light-weight upper contains an inner-sleeve which wraps around the foot to ensure ultimate responsiveness. English artist James Roper was commissioned by Nike to create a series of illustrations which feature the shoe, bringing it to life in cartoonish bursts of colour and movement.
The 2016 Jordans is all about personality. It’s about the potential that franchises are getting and the players that fans are hoping will change their teams’ futures. The draft has become a spectacle in itself and we’ve never seen that more evident than in 2003.
