Netflix and Riot Games announced plans Monday to bring a brand new animated series to the platform this autumn, in what will be the first TV series from the video game company's history. The series, known as"Arcane," was initially announced in late 2019 by Riot and in the time it was likely to emerge in 2020. No supply partner was revealed initially, and it seems the project was delayed by the pandemic. But Riot has now announced Netflix as its distribution partner and confirmed that the show is set to debut later this season.

Riot developed and produced the series alongside Fortiche Productions.
