referencing the spell 'Gravity' in previous FIFA games. It can be assumed that this is referring to the electrical energy field surrounding the young woman during the fight.Square Enix has also released information that the girl's two yellow stripes on her left shoulder symbolize an overall Rank and Social status.Using this as a reference could possibly mean an involvement as a solider, other characters during the trailer were shown with a single stripe and cloaks but under surveillance, this could also mean social status as prisoners. The Battle SystemPromises have been made and we can clearly see the development of the more 'involved' battle system of Final Fantasy XIII.Taking a step from the turn-based action of previous FIFA fifa 16 coins games, the new system seems to blend melee attacks as well as magic abilities during a fight.Similar to FFXII, the game no longer bases enemies around random encounters, but, spawns on the map that the FIFA player has the choice of either fighting or avoiding. The Battle menu is laid out horizontally on the bottom of the screen, with additional menu's on the left side, the main "V Strike" and attack buttons seem to be for either Melee, Gun, or Special attacks.Basing your attacks on a series of combinations rather then one at a time lines all the individual actions in a combo bar above the ATB meter, which, with every turn is performed before your turn is over. This is a more tactical form to fighting, possibly FIFA games such as Final Fantasy Tactics or Disgaea are the best references for the way the system will work.In its entirety, the system not only includes melee and gun attacks but also magic attacks as well.Health in the game is pretty straight forward, taking damage results in your damage points meter dropping.Along with the meter, it shows you your status, i.e.Poison, Darkness or any other adverse effects.Radar takes place differently then most FIFA games, a screen will represent you as a blue dot in the center of many red dots.As you attack different enemies, there will be a light ring around the enemy, as more enemies are 'aggro'd or attacked the rings increase. The new limit break system is a combination of FFIX Trance mode.As the character deals more damage and gains points for the overclock, it fills up.Finally once the overclock is full, it can be unleashed for massive amounts of damage. This sequence is a countdown shortly after the overclock (limit break) begins and once the time has depleted, the character returns to normal attacks.Lastly, is the magic system, now, referencing the trailer we saw traces of older magic attacks with a new coat of paint.Magic abilities such as Gravity (i.e.Gravity Bomb) or Fire have been unleashed within the trailer. It's hard to say if the MP system has been revised from previous FIFA games, seeing the heroine has either charged momentarily or snapped her fingers(shown fleetingly in the trailer) to initiate a magic attack.
