Concrete mixer is core part of concrete batching plant. Whether it can work well or not greatly relates to the working condition of the whole concrete batching plant. We should pay attention on the following tips when checking the concrete mixer.

1. Items that should be checked before putting into use:

a. Check whether the machine is stable or not;

b. Make sure whether the blades and the binder bolts are solid or not;

c. Examine the binder bolts of feeding frame;

d. Confirm the water is ample and the pipeline is unobstructed.

2. Items that should be checked after using

a. Remove the soot deposit inside and outside the agitator, the discharge door and the hopper. Then flush them with water;

b. There should not be any other things in the hopper;

c. Cut off the power and lock the control system well;

d. Lubricate some parts according to the condition of the machine;

e. Drain off the water of water supply system.

3. Items that should be checked weekly

a. Check the damage of steel wire rope and apply some lubrication oil or replace new rope according to degree of wear.

b. Examine reducer mobile block making machine, oil pump and lubricate parts.

c. Water supply system should keep clean so as not to block up; check and clean suction valve once.

d. Make sure the rocking arm position switch is tightened.

e. Confirm the blades and the binder bolts are not loose. The maximum interval between blades and drum should be 5mm.

f. Check the contactor of electric box.

4. Items that should be checked regularly

a. Check the hoisting system and adjust it properly.

b. Examine water pump and restrictor valve to make sure there is no water leakage.

c. Inspect gearwheel and lubricate appropriately. Adjust the degree of tightness of belt.

d. Check degree of wear of blades and lining plate and replace them in time.
