This marks the first time Jordan Brand is releasing an Air Jordan Retro from their HOF Collection. Just like the "Pantone" Air Jordan 7 released this past weekend, another Air Jordan retro colorway that was once only a rare sample is now getting an official release. Continuing the big year for the Air Jordan 13, the "History of Flight" colorway from the display sample collection of the same name from 2009 is now receiving its own release. The clean look for the thirteenth Air Jordan features a white leather upper with red and black accents for a twist on the classic Bulls color scheme. Dressed in a White, University Red and Metallic Silver color scheme. This Air Jordan 13 features a White tumbled leather upper with Red detailing on the inner liner and rubber outsole. Other details include Metallic Silver branding and Black laces.
Jordans 2017, The Air Jordan 13 History Of Flight comes with a White tumbled leather upper offset by the Red hits noted on the sole unit, lining and branding. This is the same color scheme used on all the other retros from the History of Flight series. This will be the first sneaker to release from the Air Jordan History of Flight Collection which consists of Jordan retros dressed up in white/red color schemes. The Air Jordan 13 HOF features a White tumbled leather upper with University Red accents on the inner liner and outsole. Other details include black laces and a Metallic Silver Jumpman on the tongue. Jordan Brand first unveiled the "History Of Flight" Collection in the Summer of 2014 while debuting the Air Jordan XX9, and featured each of the Air Jordan signatures decked out in white with red accents and black laces.
The Cheap Jordans 2017 'History Of Flight' Collection made its original debut in Las Vegas a couple of years ago. And now, the Jumpman is giving the public their very first taste of the 'History Of Flight' Collection in the beloved Air Jordan XIII silhouette. The AJ XIII HOF features a white tumbled leather base complete with matching quilted overlays, the holographic bubble sits at the lateral heel ankle collar of each sneaker, while a red ankle collar lining and outsole add some character to the kicks, and black shoelaces add some much needed contrast to the sneaker as well. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of Jordan Brand dropping the 'History Of Flight' Collection and we get to see more Bulls-inspired colorways in the near future. The Air Jordan 13 originally released in 1998 causing this to become one of the first rare Jordan 13 Low to hit the streets. the shoe appears to be actual tumbled leather, and a good quality leather at that (we'll only know for sure once in-hand). Tech-wise, the XIII (13) should have the normal forefoot/heel Zoom Air. The colorway features a premium upper draped in white tumbled leather accompanied by contrasting "University Red" hits on the sock liner and outsole. Black laces and grey Jumpman branding sit atop the white midsole unit and complete the upcoming release.
