New Jordans 2016, The Air Jordan 1 OG Metallic Red will be making a retro return as part of Jordan Brand's Air Jordan 1 lineup for 2017. This time, it’ll include "Nike Air" branding just like the original release. Air Jordan 1 fans have had plenty to be excited about during the last couple of years, which have seen a large number of OG looks for the model to return—some for the very first time. Next up for the Air Jordan 1 High is the original "Metallic Red" colorway, which has retroed before, but never in the more-accurate "OG" construction. For those that can remember, the Air Jordan 1 "Metallic Red" returned back in 2009, but that release wasn't true to its original look. It lacked the beloved "Nike Air" branding and came with the Jumpman logos instead.
Jordans 2017 did release the Air Jordan 1 Metallic Red back in 2009, however they were not true to OG. They featured the Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel instead of Nike Air. For 2017, this Air Jordan 1 release will feature a clean White and Varsity Red mashup while the Red will have a Metallic finish. Nike Air branding will also land on the tongue, insole and sole. Rocking the same motif and color-blocking of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Metallic Navy, this OG version of the Jordan 1 comes with an all-White leather upper offset by the hits of Metallic Red (patent leather) on the collar and Nike Swoosh. Additional Red can be seen on the Wings branding, lining and tongue Nike Air branding, while the White midsole and Red outsole complete the look of the shoe.
Cheap Jordans 2017, Previously released in 2009 using Jumpman branding, the "Metallic Red" Air Jordan 1 returns in OG form to join last year's "Metallic Blue" pair. The white-based sneakers feature red accents throughout, with a metallic patent leather being used on the ankle collar and Swoosh. An extra set of red laces will also be included. others are probably wondering why Jordan Brand did not bring back some other OG Metallic colorway. Nonetheless, this year's version can be regarded as more of a remastered one and will probably be closer to the original than perhaps the 2009 one. Of course, it will still have the same clean White-colored premium leather uppers while the accentuating Metallic Varsity Red hue will appear over its ankles, Jordan "Wings" branding, Nike "Swoosh" logo and its outsoles. Additionally though, its tongues will also feature the OG "Nike Air" branding." But for the 2017 retro, the classic Air Jordan 1 returns in its clean White leather upper with Varsity Red accents. Nike Air branding appears on the tongue, insole and outsole.
